WHAT ARE MOTORIZED LIGHTBOXES?

Our traditional motorized light boxes can be used to display any size Polage® art work. They contain brilliant energy-saving LED lights and a slowly rotating motorized polarizing filter. This way of displaying Polage art allows the flexibility of letting the Polage art be displayed continually changing or turned around and viewed interactively with a hand-held viewer. A motorized lightbox can be displayed hanging on a wall or on a table-top stand.

When you have turned the Polage art around to be viewed interactively, get ready to flip the switch to stop the motor turning the Polarizer inside the box just at the point when the Polage art appears it’s brightest.

Light boxes for 26” Polage art and larger use a proprietary stepper motor system. All light boxes us energy-saving LED lights.

WHAT ARE LIGHT PANELS?

With a light panel, you can display a Polage artwork hanging on a wall as either an interactive, kinetic work or as a stained glass-like image.  The light panel is very thin and, together with the Polage art, is contained in a frame like a painting.  This method of display can be ordered for any size Polage artwork.  The art can be displayed interactively where the participant looks through a polarizing filter (hand held or sunglasses) to see the art, or the art may be a complete image much like brightly colored stained glass requiring no polarizing viewer.

STAND IN WINDOW

Any Polage artwork between 6” and 19” can rest in a Plexiglass stand, back-lit by a window or other light source.  The artwork will be viewable interactively by looking through a hand-held viewer, or an appropriately sized polarized viewer which can also rest in the stand in front of the art.

HANG IN WINDOW

The option of hanging a Polage art piece 19” and larger require a frame and can be viewed either interactively using a hand-held polarizer or polarized sunglasses.  Another option is having the art covered with a layer of Polarizer so that it would be viewed similar to stained glass with interactive no movement (except as you look from different angles).
